Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Rehab Ready SOS Call?

A Rehab Ready SOS Call is a private 30-minute educational support call with Jessica Metzler, LPN. It is designed to help families get organized, sort through their concerns, and prepare better questions before speaking with the rehab team.

Who is this call for?

This call is for family members whose loved one is going from the hospital to rehab, already in a rehab facility, or preparing to discharge home. It may be helpful if you feel unsure what to ask, who to talk to, or what information you should be writing down.

Is this medical advice?

No. Rehab Ready provides educational information and family support only. This is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, insurance advice, or clinical decision-making. Always follow instructions from your loved one’s healthcare providers and rehab team.

What can we talk about during the call?

You can talk through what is happening with your loved one’s rehab situation, what questions to ask first, who to speak with, what information to write down, and how to prepare for next steps.

Can you tell me if the rehab facility is doing something wrong?

No. Rehab Ready does not investigate facilities, provide legal opinions, or determine whether something was done wrong. The goal is to help you get organized, ask clearer questions, and better understand what information to request from the rehab team.

What happens after I book?

After you book your call, you will receive confirmation details with the date, time, and meeting information. You may also be asked a few intake questions so Jessica can better understand your situation before the call.

How long is the call?

The Rehab Ready SOS Call is 30 minutes.

How much does it cost?

The Rehab Ready SOS Call is $99.

What is included after the call?

After your SOS Call, you will also receive access to the Rehab Ready Command Center so you can keep organizing questions, next steps, scripts, and red flags to watch for.

What if I prefer to work through the information on my own?

The Rehab Ready Command Center is available as a self-paced option for families who want practical tools they can read, print, and use on their own.

What if my loved one is already in rehab?

That is okay. Many families do not realize they need help until rehab has already started. The call can still help you organize your concerns and prepare better questions for the rehab team.

What if my loved one has not transferred yet?

That is a great time to get organized. You can use the call to prepare questions before transfer, understand what information to ask for, and feel more ready for the first few days.

Can you call the rehab facility for me?

No. Rehab Ready does not contact the rehab facility or speak to providers on your behalf. The call is designed to help you prepare for your own conversations with the rehab team.

Can you review medical records?

No. Rehab Ready does not review medical records or provide clinical recommendations. You may share general concerns or what you have been told, but the support provided is educational and organizational only.

What if I am not sure this is the right fit?

If you are looking for help getting organized, understanding what questions to ask, and feeling more prepared before speaking with the rehab team, this may be a good fit. If you need medical advice, legal advice, urgent care, or emergency help, you should contact the appropriate healthcare provider, attorney, or emergency service.
